Hetty has had her chicks at last - actually they're not hers , because they're white leghorns, but she doesn't realise she's been tricked into sitting on someone else's eggs and is blissfully happy.

Lots of colour in the garden now - and the occasional deer to munch on the plants!

Clarence the cockerel is now overseeing the Spring preparation of the kitchen garden, and elsewhere the early flowers are giving us all a boost!
