A detailed video I took of the history of The Lawn whilst I was in the middle of tidying up a cupboard which is where I’ve kept all this memorabilia in the spirit of keeping the history of this house alive.

I didn’t mention, I was gifted that big book by John and Kamila of Oxford University who were studying the royal family of Bohemia, and when the 3rd descendant of the Reynolds family came to see me a few years ago, Francis Misitano who relived his youth when being back at his grandparents home all whilst celebrating his 80th birthday, we had a tea party with the Horley History Society, John and Kamila gifted me the book at that time.

I went down the heritage route where you can keep an existing door and modify it to keep with current fire door regulations, the main reason was because of the key 🔑 which could be as old as the house. The only door in the whole house which has a key to the door so I had to keep it in spirit of being true to the history of the house.

Some guests wanted the privacy of a door so this is what we did ☺️

Also busy painting rooms, one room a day, one coat of the same colour to freshen up the house 😇

A small token of appreciation received this time of the year from the owner of Fenix Cars whom we use for all our out of hours taxi transportations. Thank you very much.

Together with a lovely box of chocolates from my dear friends Allan and Sandra.

And a bar of Russian chocolate from another guest of mine!

Unfortunately have decided to further increase the drop off fee, a massive jump which was only increased earlier this year from £6 to £7 now £10 is day light robbery.

Please rest assured our transfer service fee of £15 per journey will remain the same, our operating hours are from 9am to 9pm daily.
