Apologies for being rather quiet on here, but we've been busy.
The garden is looking lovely, we've had 4 tons of gravel on the drive this week and a new sign at the gate, so hopefully easier to find now.

SANDILANDS NATURE RESERVE "WALK & TALK"

National Trust Gunby Hall and Sandilands Nature Reserve

Friday 13th May 2022 from 11am - 12.15pm.

Meeting Point:
Former CLUBHOUSE - at the Northern tip of the reserve.

Learn about the landscape and see how we are nurturing the environment at Sandilands to make it a special haven for nature that everyone can enjoy.

Our expert Nature Conservation Advisor, Carl Hawke, is passionate about this landscape. He will be setting the scene, identifying environmental highlights, and giving us a taste of what it means for Sandilands to be a developing nature reserve.

The Lincolnshire Coast is one of the most important stretches of coastline for wildlife, providing an ideal stop off point for migrating birds and other wildlife. You might even spot our resident short-eared owls or a reed warbler in the foliage. There's plenty of passing highlights to look out for when you join this walk and talk.

Dogs are very welcome too, but must be happy to make new friends and be kept on a short lead!!
