Remembering Sonya – A Celebration of Her Life

For those who knew and loved Sonya, we’ll be opening The Swan Inn from around 4:30 PM on Tuesday 20th May, after the funeral.

Sonya was the heart and soul of The Swan for so many years, and it was a place truly close to her heart. We’d love to welcome anyone who wants to raise a glass, share a story, or simply be together in her memory.

Let’s celebrate the life of a truly special person in the place she loved - a place where she made friends, created memories, and touched so many hearts. 💛

URGENT POLICE APPEAL TO FIND MISSING MALTON WOMAN LAST SEEN ON MONDAY MORNING

North Yorkshire Police are appealing for information which will help with their searches to find missing 34-year-old Victoria Taylor.

Victoria was last seen at 9am yesterday (Monday 30th September) at her home address in Malton.

She is described as white and approximately 5ft 6 in height. Victoria was last seen wearing blue jeans, a black Adidas original puffa jacket with white stripes down the sleeves, a grey Jack Wills hooded jumper and was carrying a salmon/pink Vans backpack.

"Extensive searches are currently taking place in the Malton and Norton areas to try and locate Victoria, but we are growing increasingly concerned for her welfare," said a North Yorkshire Police spokesperson.

"Any immediate sightings of Victoria should be reported to police on 999.

"If you have any information which will help with our search then please call 101 and quote reference 12240178710."
