I decided to advertise my one bedroom self catered on AirBnB, believing that the service charges etc were considerably less for both myself and the guests. WRONG!

My nightly rate is £145

£145 x 3 nights (min stay) = £435 as shown in the Host Payout section below

However, the guest is duped into thinking that they are getting a great deal only being charged £130 per night but after AirBnB have added on a 'Guest Service Fee', they end up paying £20 more that if they had booked direct!! ...And I receive less (after commission) than I do if the guest had booked on Booking com who charge a flat 15% on ALL bookings

DON'T LET THE MIDDLEMEN STEAL OUR MONEY!

... ... it's cheaper for you the guest and a better payout for me the host 💷💷
