"We had an amazing time here. The place was pristine with everything we could need. Of course the dog was a bonus! John and Bev were wonderful hosts, it couldn’t have been better!" (Emma May 2019)

"Bev & John are really warm & friendly hosts,who provided excellent hospitality (Billy,the spaniel,wasn't half bad either !). Although we shared their home, we felt relaxed and at ease, whilst each other's privacy was respected. The double room, we stayed in, is meticulously clean, with a comfortable bed, , panoramic views , drinks facilities and superb bathroom facilities. At night, it's so peaceful, you can hear a pin drop, or a even a local owl! . Perfectly situated for a gig at The Picturedrome in Holmfirth. "Bev and John were your perfect hosts. Their house is absolutely beautiful and we were made to feel at home from the moment we walked through the door after our 6 and a half hour drive. We were offered a cup of tea straight away and John even booked our taxi for us for a wedding we were attending the following day. Nothing was too much trouble and breakfast was really lovely as an added bonus! They gave us recommendations of places to eat, all within a 5 - 10 minute walk of the accommodation. "We would definitely stay here again if we were in the area. John and Bev are so relaxed and welcoming, and very interesting people to chat with. The house is really nice, so comfortable and lots of different spaces to use and enjoy. The village/area they are in is beautiful and great access to good walking options. Breakfast was great. And the dog... we almost wept to have to say goodbye... so loveable."
