Smith Hall Meadow, comfort under canvas, Derbyshire Smith Hall Meadow has a yurt pitch and a Bell tent pitch. Each pitch has a private bathroom and dining tent. A Perfect spot to relax.

Each pitch is for up to 4 people, but the Bell tent pitch has an extra tent that can be booked sharing the facilities.

The 2023 season is nearly upon us. Here’s what‘s new for Smith Hall Meadow: we will open for guests on 31st March 2023 and this year we have Kestral yurt, which replaces Kite tent on it‘s pitch with private bathroom. We still have Buzzard bell tent, which has it’s private bathroom and which can be booked as one unite. Kite tent, which now stands on an adjacent pitch to Buzzard, can be hired with it, for those larger groups that are happy to share the bathroom. The cost of hiring the two tents is adjusted accordingly. See the website for details.

The pond reconstruction is complete and ready for the wildlife, including newts and frogs, to settle in for the summer, making it a lovely, relaxing place to while away time whilst staying at Smith Hall Meadow. We are open for bookings now, stays officially start from April 19th, please contact if you want to discuss anything or book. We look forward to seeing you.
