Can’t believe it’s already been a whole week since Camp 2026!

It was an amazing week full of fun activities, new friendships, and most importantly, new Bosco award winners! 🏆

A massive thank you to all the boys who made Camp 2026 the amazing week it was, we hope you all had as good a time as us leaders, and we hope to see you all again next year!!

We’d also like to give a special shout out to all the staff at St Cassian’s The Kintbury Experience who put in so much work behind the scenes to help Don Bosco Camp run! ❤️

Finally, there will be more posts to come with memories of Camp 2026 and details regarding Camp 2027, but in the meantime:

Our final full day of camp!! 🥲

A very action-packed day with Bosco Sports Day, featuring lots of fun events (and a few water balloons…) ⚔️🎈

We also saw all the tournament finals: football, table tennis and pool 🎱

Then finished off the day with no-hands trifle and one final campfire 🏕️🔥

We hope everyone had a brilliant time on Camp this year, and please stay tuned for more summary posts of this amazing week!!

Day Five finished!! ⛸️

Nearing the end of Camp now, as we saw our final trip to Swindon for ice skating and some shopping 🛍️

Alongside some more pool, table tennis and football tournament games, Thursdays on Don Bosco Camp are always BBQ days! 🍗

We also had our Reconcillation service which gave a lovely quiet and thoughtful few hours, for all the boys to have a chance to reflect and feel closer to God 🙌

Onto Day Six - our final full day 🥲

Day Four Done!! 🏊

Today saw our trip to the Aquadrome in Basingstoke, where we were treated to our own private Bosco section! 👀😎

To make the most of the lovely weather, we even had Mass outdoors, in Cedric’s shade 🌳

We also continued the sports tournaments across table tennis, pool and football, as well as a game of Bosco Cricket 🏏

Onto day five ❤️

Day Three of Camp 2026 done!! 🙌

A fun-filled day on site today completing the Crystal Maze, with challenges from low ropes and archery, to the infamous egg drop! 🥚💎

We also continued the football tournament with some highly competitive matches (felt like the World Cup was still happening), as well as some wide games around the site, before ending with another great campfire! 🏕️

Looking forward to Day 4!

Day Two Complete!! 🌊🏕️

Today saw the first trip of the week to Lagoona Park, as well as the kicking off of the prestigious Bosco sports tournaments! 🏓

Then boys had their first Tidy Tent, and of course, lots of fun wide games, before wrapping up with another campfire 🔥

Onto Day 3!!

First day of Camp 2026 checked off! 🏕️

It was great to welcome back lots of familiar faces - and say hello to some new ones!

Unfortunately as it’s been so dry recently, we can’t build our usual big campfires this week, but that doesn’t stop us from having “campfire” fun! ☀️🙌
