Today we took the Small Friendly Greyhound out on a "learn to be brave" adventure!

We parked at Lochpark, left Ted watering his plants and headed off towards the Lochpark circular path.

It was gloriously peaceful following the path alongside the Loch with lots of sniffs, and ideally for Sasha, only met one couple.

We did have to jump over a fallen tree (it took one of us sausage encouragement to figure it out!) but generally it was a lovely walk for her 🐾

We welcome 4 dogs as standard, and they can go where they wish indoors but must be on lead outside unless in the dog paddock which is 30 seconds away. They can enjoy unlimited use of the dog paddock whether to play or sunbathe!

There are lots of walks to explore nearby and beautiful beaches 30 minutes drive away.
We have a penchant for sighthounds and reactive dogs are welcome ❤

They are very knowledgeable, if they don't have what you are asking for they will give you the closest match ✔️

Shelia and Gary really are the best dog shop owners, they have really helped me out over the years with food choices, and welcomed both my own dogs and foster dogs into the shop.

I cannot recommend them enough - and when our guests visit it warms my heart ❤️

Daffodil photos because we are hopeful Spring is finally around the corner!!! The Dog Paddock is still wet and quite waterlogged but it is slowly getting better and we provide a stash of old towels for muddy paws!

We welcome 4 dogs as standard, and they can go where they wish indoors but must be on lead outside unless in the dog paddock.

WINTER WEEKENDS!!!

Throughout February we are offering Friday - Sunday stays for only £125

These are all fully refundable as we are relying on the weather and we don't even want to take payment until a couple of days before you are due to arrive! We are really hoping the worst of the weather has now nearly passed 🤞

Yes the photos make it look like a snowy haven - current situation is honestly wet and waterlogged. BUT. The Bothy is warm and cosy, and it still is a lovely getaway from it all!

A huge stash of old towels will be provided to rub down the doggos. We welcome 4 as standard, and they can go where they wish indoors but must be on lead outside unless in the dog paddock - we have a sometimes reactive boy dog and a foster greyhound.

We are a one bedroom self catering property in rural Aberdeenshire, a car is a must (winter tyres are a godsend) and there is no WiFi/limited phone signal.

Another recommendation from Amy, Ben, Levi & Lexie.

Sunnyside Beach is a secluded place to the east of Cullen. The beach is a good 20 minutes walk from the car park, and if you are lucky you will have it all to yourselves (perfect for any crazy hounds to run on!!!)

By my hunting, the car park is the same as for Findlater Castle - follow the path down from the car park and there are signs to lead the way.
