Its been several months since I was last inside the Castle Hotel and a delight to see alll of the changes we have planned start to slowly appear. It is like a Phoenix rising from the ages and will be truly spectacular when we reopen. WE are keen to do our own things but also maintain the features that make the hotel so special.
A few strange things lying around as we discovery more and more, anyone wanting to have a guess at what the item in the picture is?

While the re-opening of the hotel is still sometime away we are truly excited to be opening our sister outlet in Huntly. The evening of Wednesday 23rd March will see the doors open at The Bank Cafe and Restaurant in the Square. We will be open from 5pm till 11pm on the 23rd and 24th before opening fully on the 25th with food available from 8.30am till 11pm in the evening. Please give us a call on 01466 543103, drop in and visit.

The Huntly Castle Hotel Grounds are to be closed to all traffic, including pedestrian traffic from the 21st March 2022 to the 29th March 2022, this is to allow for a large quantity of tree removals, so they can kickstart the grounds renovations to match all the work going on inside.
We apologise in advance for any inconvenience caused, but i think you agree, it will be very exciting to see the new and improved hotel when they have completed all their plans!
*edit* should probably have mentioned, we arranged a felling license for them and there will be replanting works completed, with more suitable broadleaves to match both boundaries views up better.

Just a litte snow so far this year but no doubt there will be more to come. Visit us when we are open in the winter, a dram in hand watching the snow fall and thinking about sledging down the hill. Thank you to Jo Dawson for sending us the video.

Good evening everyone, just wanted to let you know there is a page for our sister restaurant located in The Square in Huntly. Will be opening in early 2022 serving great food from breakfasts to evening meals. Enjoy great drinks and our uniquely sourced coffee. look for The Bank Restaurant, Huntly, its early days and still adding to the page but please drop by and like.

Hi folks, my name is Ian and I work for Duncan Taylor Scotch Whisky Ltd who are the new owners of The Castle Hotel.
Firstly I would like to pay tribute to Andrew, Linda and family for their achievements at the hotel. I remember my first visit around 20 years ago and it has been a pleasure to see it grow, we wish you a long and happy retirement and delighted to see you are living close by.
Please join the team and I as we work to create a new chapter in the life of the Castle and we will do our best to take you on that journey with us. When the doors reopen please come and see us and help us mould the future of this magnificent old building. It is going to take some time but I promise it will be worth it.
