There’s plenty of space on our pitches. But here’s some useful information about safety when camping, not just with us!
🏕️ Camping is a great way to enjoy the outdoors and a bit of preparation helps keep everyone safe.
Planning a trip? Here’s a quick fire safety checklist for campers:
-Never use candles in or near a tent torches are much safer
-Don’t smoke inside a tent
-Keep cooking areas well away from your tent
-Pitch tents at least six metres apart and away from parked cars
-Know the campsite’s fire arrangements and where the nearest phone is
-Keep cooking areas clear of flammable materials, including dry grass
-Place cooking equipment where it can’t easily be knocked over
-Keep matches, lighters, fuel and gas cylinders out of children’s reach
-Always have an escape plan
