Join us at Alan Stevenson House on Thursday 10th September at 7pm for a very special evening celebrating exceptional Hebridean food and wh**ky.

Our chef, Aisling Milne, has created a five-course menu inspired by the ingredients, landscapes and flavours of the west coast. Each dish has been carefully designed to complement five specially selected whiskies from distilleries along the Hebridean Wh**ky Trail.

At the heart of the evening is our very own Isle of Tiree Distillery—showcasing the skill, character and ambition of wh**ky-making here on Tiree. Guests will also enjoy an exclusive Tiree dram, making this a rare opportunity to taste something truly special from our island.

Expect Bakkafrost smoked salmon, Mull venison, Argyll pork tenderloin, scallop puff pastry and Scottish cheese—all brought together through Aisling’s creative cooking and a carefully considered wh**ky pairing.

Our kitchen will create five carefully considered courses, with five whiskies handpicked to complement each dish — bringing together great Scottish food, island wh**ky and the flavours of the Hebrides.

No-Limit Texas Hold’em – Tournament Format

Our Poker Night is intended to be a fun, friendly and sociable evening. Players of all abilities are welcome.

Standard Texas Hold’em rules apply.

💷 ENTRY & PRIZE POT

£5 stake per player.

Your entire £5 goes into the prize pot.

Alan Stevenson House / Skerryvore Wh**ky Bar takes no fee, commission or percentage from the game.

There are no re-buys or add-ons.

Everyone starts with the same number of tournament chips.

Winner takes the full pot.

For example:

10 players × £5 = £50 PRIZE POT

Last player standing wins £50.

If numbers require more than one table, players will be divided into separate games.

For example:

The maximum total amount staked across poker games at the premises during the day will not exceed £100.

♦️ TOURNAMENT RULES

• Players receive an equal starting stack of tournament chips.

• Chips have no cash value outside the tournament.

• Blinds will increase at regular intervals throughout the evening.

• When you lose all your chips, you are eliminated from the tournament.

• No re-buys or additional stakes.

• Play continues until one player remains at each table/game.

• The last player standing wins that game’s entire prize pot.

♣️ AT THE TABLE

Please act in turn.

Verbal declarations such as call, raise and fold are binding.

Cards must remain on or above the table and visible during play.

One player to a hand — other players must not advise someone how to play their cards.

Deliberate collusion, chip dumping, marking cards or any other form of cheating will result in removal from the game.

Please respect the dealer and other players.

Where there is a dispute, the decision of the nominated Poker Night organiser will be final.

18+ only.

Poker Night is being run as low-stakes social gaming within an alcohol-licensed premises.

Maximum stake: £5 per player per game.

Maximum aggregate poker stakes: £100 per premises per day.

Maximum prize: £100 per game.

All stakes are returned to players as prizes. The House takes no rake, deduction or participation fee.

Poker is intended to be ancillary to the normal operation of Alan Stevenson House and Skerryvore Wh**ky Bar.

Excited to be working with Isle of Tiree Distillery again this year for the Hebridean Wh**ky Trail .

We’re delighted to be part of the Hebridean Wh**ky Trail Festival again this year!

We will be hosting our Festival Open Day on Thursday 10th September from 12pm – 5pm. The doors to the Distillery will be open to all and mini tours will take place for those in attendance. 🥃

In the evening, we’ve teamed up with Alan Stevenson House Hotel who will host a special Wh**ky Trail meal, with the option of a Hebridean wh**ky pairing. 🍽️
