How to protect your dog from ticks
The most effective strategy is to concoct a home made repellent that's both potent and safe, using just a handful of ingredients. To a glass of water (about 240ml), add 10 drops of geranium oil, five drops of cedarwood oil, three drops of lavender oil, and three drops of lemongrass oil. Combining these oils, known to repel ticks, creates a solution that can be safely applied to your dog's coat, ideally using a spray bottle for convenience.

Another season has ended and the campsite is now closed. I hope you all enjoyed your stay this year. We have held our prices at bare minimum for quite a few years, unfortunately expenses have not remained the same. From next Easter when we reopen the price goes up to £15, which is still far below other sites in the area.

For yet another year we held the price of £10, unlike other sites who have hiked priced treble what they were pre covid. I have noticed an increase in the people who drive in turn round and then drive out again, when asked they say they are checking out the site for a future time, however they fail to notice there is a proper flushing WC, running water, outdoor shower to sluice off the saltwater when coming from the beach. The recycling bins or the waste dump tank. £10 covers a single sleeping unit put up a tent and have someone sleep in the van is 2 units, a large tent with numerous adults is £5 a head, two adults and children under 16 is £10 if in a single tent. Caravan or motorhome. The bus to town can be flagged down at the gate if you prefer not to pay the parking charges.
