We are truly delighted to be playing a small part in the first ever Ilfracombe Photography Festival this weekend.. We will be open to visitors from 10:30 until 5pm each day.

The Earlsdale will be showing work by the wonderful Olga Vynnyk in our dining room, plus the bar will be open including hot drinks.

We are also hosting at ThriftFull - so do make sure you visit both venues as part of this amazing weekend!

Suggested a couple of weeks ago by a rather stylish guest.. the dining room ceiling is now gold… just like that! This room now feels more lux than ever .. and ensures every sitting is a rather special event..

📸 From an Ilfracombe beach to international biennales

Join Ukrainian-born fine art and community photographer Olga Vynnyk for a very special workshop during Ilfracombe Photography Festival.

'From an Ilfracombe Beach to International Biennales' explores the story behind 'Birth of Eve', from its creation on an Ilfracombe beach to its exhibition at the Chianciano Biennale 2026 and selection for the Florence Biennale 2027.

Together with model Izzy, Olga will return to the original location and guide participants through developing an artistic idea, working with a model in the natural landscape, and creating their own conceptual photographs.

Olga’s work will also be part of the festival programme through her exhibition 'Refugee Path' at The Earlsdale, selected for the London Art Biennale 2025, and 'This Place Calls To Me' at Ilfracombe C of E Junior School, a Red Herring Productions project with photography by Olga Vynnyk.
