Why not visit Meet the animals at Exmoor Zoo whilst staying at Smythen Farm Holiday Cottages only a 20 minute drive away.
If you’re looking for things to do in North Devon with toddlers then a day at the zoo is a real crowd pleaser. Exmoor is a small zoo with its fair share of rare animals that you may not see elsewhere in the country.
There are animal talks and chances to find out more about the zoo’s residents throughout the day.

We are getting ready for the new season and welcoming our guests and friends back. Since the last post we have had some sad news poor Billy died of old age, RIP Billy.
Billy will not be forgotten at Smythen Farm but we felt that we needed to bring in new friend for Millie so welcome Minstral another Miniature Sheltland pony.

Fancy doing something a bit different when visiting Smythen Farm Holiday Cottages, why not visit Cobbaton Combat Collection Umberleigh - an opportunity to look at Tanks and military equipment from the past wars. Admission is also great value.

Wow we have just returned frpom a deep sea fishing trip with Bluefin Charter Fishing Trips. We went out for the 4 hour trip from Ilfracombe Harbour. We caught a large Dog Fish...
A great afternoon and really reasonable for £35.00 all the fishing equipment is supplied. All very close to Smythen Farm Holiday Cottages, so why not give it ago when staying with us.
