Due to unforseen circumstances Sandys funeral will now be Thursday 23rd March at 11.00 at North Devon Crematorium followed by light refreshments at The Carlton Hotel Ilfracombe.
At Sandys request dress should be spring colours and donations to be for Battersea Dogs Home.

Today we've had to say goodnight to our Barney Rubble 💕 😢😢
You will be so missed by Stuart Julie and their family. Such a sweet boy with a beautiful nature.

It is with sadness that we have to tell everyone that Dolly .....Sandys partner in crime has passed away today.
Dolly was a gorgeous little lady who is going to missed hugely by us all. We are all sending Sandy our love and supporting her through this sad time 😪😪❤️❤️

Well that's it ...... we officially handed the keys over to the hotels' new owners today.
The hotel has been our lives for the past 50 years so we take with us lots and lots of special memories.
We'd like to send our love and thanks to all our guests and staff who have helped and supported us over the years.
We'll keep our page open and would love to hear of your memories of the hotel, if you've photos even better 😀

Not long to go now till we hand over the keys to the new owner of our hotel!

A whole commercial kitchen and hotel equipment crockery cutlery large Foster walk in fridge bar equipment tables beds curtains wardrobes bedside tables table lamps bucket chairs double hobart fryer dishwasher glasses teapots milk jugs, tv's 32 " all in good condition but not smart, basically anything to do with a 53 bedroom hotel in Ilfracombe. Give Nick Cox or Stuart Cox a ring or message them for more info.
Hotel will be open Monday 14th Feb between 10 & 2 for anyone interested in anything that's for sale

Well ...... that's it...... we are now officially closed. Last night it was time for Sandy to reminisce and relax with old friends. Friends the family have known since they bought the hotel some 50 years ago!
