Today’s guests left everything fine. We do ask all our guests if they mind stripping the beds, not everyone does but when they do it really does help us out. These guests left a lovely message in the guest book telling us how much they enjoyed their stay 🦞🙏

Top Tip…Make sure you leave a pen!

I have noticed because we leave a pen with our guest book, every guest that has stayed with us has written a message inside 🦞When the pen isn’t next to the book, a-lot less messages are left.

So make sure you leave a pen nearby!

We love a welcome pack, and for us it’s important that we personalise them to our guests.
And these guests had 4 children so what better gift than a seagull football that they can all enjoy together on their holiday. 🦞⚽️

Just a bit of fun 🤪 but it did make me realise how important it is for those final checks to make sure everything is just right for our guests when they check in. Its so easy to miss those little extra bits
as changeovers can be so hectic especially on a same day changeover thats why I always spend a couple of minutes at the end of our clean checking each room, doing final checks to make sure everything has been done. 🦞

It’s like a lucky dip sometimes what you might find in the fridge/freezers when we are doing a changeover. This time of year we are ALWAYS grateful to find ice creams!!

The Fair is here! Every year since we have lived here the fair arrives for the summer at Ilfracombe Harbour. This year they have a new ride… The Ferris Wheel!

If you are staying with us then it is absolutely worth a visit 🎡

Quick turnaround today with a same day changeover. Our guests left everything lovely and left a beautiful message in the guest book and 5* review on Airbnb. We cannot tell you how happy it makes us to get such wonderful feedback, knowing all your hard work is worth it 🙏

Its been a warm one but those changeovers wont do themselves so off we popped to get The Lobster Pot ready for its next guests. Sweating became an occupational hazard🥵 but we got it done and these guests were going to be celebrating a birthday so we added a little birthday banner 🎈
