A fleeting visit to Ashes Shaw nature reserve yesterday.
It’s a beautiful spot with a stunning view of Pen-y-Ghent and wonderful to hear the cuckoo calling!
This reserve is part of Wild Ingleborough and is a short walk from Gauber Bunk Barn & Den
We are very fortunate to have a number of nature reserves within walking distance of Gauber including Salt Lake Quarry, Ribblehead Quarry, Ashes Pasture and Bellfield’s Pasture🌿🥀🌾🌼
