Pack the gravel or mountain bike and come and have a go at some cyclocross. at the Donkey Sanctuary later this year. I did this event last year its friendly and a fun event and my wife loved watching/laughing as i rode like a Donkey!
Races for all ages groups/ ladies and mens races.
I hope to attend again if the guest booking diary makes it possible and use my gravel bike.

Our first "cargo" bike ( and horse) arrived today in our bike store. It is being ridden by 14 year old Hazel with( her toy horse on the front) to raise money with sponsorship. (See comments. )
The Ariel cargo bike she is riding is handbuilt in Scotland by her father Tim who builds and supply's handbuilt Ariel cargo bikes made in the South of Scotland.
He is accompanying her on her coast to coast journey from Solway Firth to Edinburgh and the Forth.

This is a great walking loop as well with shorter options.
The fisherman had smiles on their faces at Loch Eddy and said they had a great day ๐Ÿ‘

We loved "Cadel Lungs on Legs" this play is fantastic, aimed at road cycling fans and especially Tour de France fans .
Top Tip 2.
Simply stunning "Afrique En-cirque ๐Ÿ’ช

Public Transport to Edinburgh bus X62 from outside or take the train from Galashiels.
There is also a parฤท and ride option which we used today.
