Dear friends of Home Farm Cottages,

We wanted to share some news with you. The Sutherland family has decided that the time has come to offer our much-loved Home Farm Cottages estate in Glendaruel for sale, opening it to the market for new owners.

After decades of dedication – restoring the old dairy farm buildings, creating nine wonderful holiday cottages, and welcoming guests from near and far – we’re now offering the entire estate for sale through Robb Residential.

This has been a difficult decision, and we’re incredibly proud of everything we’ve built at Home Farm Cottages.

Home Farm Cottages remains open for business as usual and you can still book your favourite cottage for a break. Our team is here to deliver the same high standards and warm welcome throughout this transition and beyond.

Hello, and let us re-introduce ourselves 👋

Welcome to Home Farm Cottages in Glendaruel. We are a family run business based in Glendaruel, Argyll & Bute, off the coast of the Argyll coastal route.

We offer eight self-catering cottages, that until 1984, were all part of a running farm providing services to Glendaruel, Loch Riddon and the surrounding areas. Each cottage has been converted to keep the farms unique character and old fashioned charm. With cottages ranging from one-bed to four-bed, each cottage is cosy with rustic charm and has everything you need for your stay.

We are located in a rural location, but only a short 2 hour drive from the central belt. This means we are the perfect place to kick back, relax and switch off. Wake up in the morning to views of the Scottish countryside and make yourself at home.

Some off our cottages are dog friendly and we have amazing walks, hills, scenery and things to do near by. Alongside many towns, bars, restaurants, fresh fish and more!
