In honour of the 280th anniversary of the Battle of Culloden, we'll be featuring a series of three talks on the types of soldiers in the 1745 rising, Horse, Foot, and Artillery.
Starting 15 March with The Horse: Cavalry Hussar and Dragoons, 22 March with Foot: Infantry, Irregular, and Guards, and 29 March with Artillery: Thunder on the Moor.
These presentations will cover the soldiers and strategy of both armies and how the shifting tactics, equipment and doctrine changed the ways these soldiers would fight.
