Throughout May & June, on Monday evenings, the City of Inverness Youth Pipe Band have a series of weekly performances on Inverness High Street and outside Inverness Castle.

Performances will take place from 7pm to 7.30pm on 18th & 25th May and 8th, 15th, 22nd & 29th June.

I’m delighted to share some exciting news — The Eilean Dubh Candle Company is opening a second shop in the heart of Inverness.

Later this year, you’ll find us on beautiful Castle Street, overlooking the castle and surrounded by some of the city’s best independent shops, cafés, and eateries. It’s a location full of character, creativity, Highland charm… and just enough temptation to spend your lunch breaks shopping while drinking some of the best coffee.

I couldn’t imagine a better place for our next chapter.

The new shop will be filled with all the handcrafted candles and home fragrances you know and love — alongside collections from some incredibly talented Highland artisans, and of course, the usual organised chaos you’ve all come to expect from the North Kessock shop.

Opening a second shop is something I could only have dreamed of, and I’m so grateful for all the support that’s helped my little Highland business grow.

We can’t wait to welcome you through the doors soon.

Experts predict questionable dance moves with isolated outbreaks of “this is my song.”
