We are very pleased to be back open again to welcome guests of Heatherlea Birdwatching Holidays. Currently our restaurant is closed to non-residents however we hope to open it fully again soon. A date is yet to be confirmed but we will update our page with further details over the next few weeks. We look forward to welcoming our restaurant customers back soon!

HEATHERLEA & THE MOUNTVIEW HOTEL – AN ANNOUNCEMENT

At a meeting of the Hotel and Office Team yesterday, I was delighted to confirm that everyone will be retained during the current crisis. We have exceptionally talented and dedicated people here at Heatherlea and Mountview Hotel, and want everyone to remain employed and above all stay safe.

Heatherlea is operating normally inside the Hotel, and our live-in staff are also staying on the premises. We are working hard on future plans, our office is busier than ever! We are also in regular contact with our newly expanded team of top quality Guides in Scotland and the rest of the UK, and with our agents around the world. Many have been with Heatherlea for a very long time, and we hope to continue our happy relationship for many years to come.

Of course, we apologise to all those planning to join us in 2020 who are no longer able to do so, we will contact everyone in person over the next coming period. We send our best wishes to all valued clients during these difficult days.

Caryl and I are rightly proud of the entire Heatherlea family. This crisis will hopefully be temporary, and please be assured we have every intention of not only surviving but emerging stronger going forward. We fully intend to be ready to show you wildlife as soon as you are ready to join us!

Coronavirus Precautions
Following the government's recent announcement regarding social distancing to help prevent the spread of this virus we have taken the decision to temporarily close our hotel restaurant. We will be constantly reviewing this situation and hope to re-open as soon as it is safe to do so.

We Are Hiring! We currently have vacancies for capable, self-motivated people who want to join a friendly team dedicated to first class service!

We are looking for keen, well presented team players with a can do attitude to work in our restaurant and dining room. Previous front of house experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.

Ability to work evening and/or breakfast shifts are a requirement of this position.

Applicants need to be over 18 and have a good standard of English.
