Shenval B&B is a small family run Bed & Breakfast established in 1983 offering mostly organic home cooking, including Fairtrade and local food; we cater for vegetarians and special diets too. At Shenval B&B we are strongly and actively committed to a low carbon policy translated in a band A Environmental Impact (CO2) Rating for our house. Our flower and vegetable garden is fully organic and we belong to a local organic vegetable box scheme. We encourage our visitors to use local public transport as much as possible and to engage in ecotourism activities, such as bird and wildlife watching, walking, canoeing and cycling. Originally from France, we settled in Shenval over 30 years ago. Keen hillwalkers ourselves we are most happy to share our extensive 30 year knowledge of the area and advise on walks to suit all tastes and abilities. To fully appreciate the wealth of historic, cultural and natural sites to visit locally and further afield, just rely on our expertise to point you in the right direction.

Both Strathglass Heritage Association and Glenurquhart Heritage Group will provide a number of walks and talks on topics covering a timespan of several thousand years from the prehistoric chambered cairn at Corrimony to Guisachan farm steading, the local Chisholm Trail and a clearance village, among other sites of interest.
