You decorate one room and the rest of the house becomes chaotic, however I have finally finished ready for today’s guests. I would like to thank Gill for rescuing me on the curtain front…I gave the wrong measurements 🙄🤷🏻‍♀️so the curtains were far too long….she came and shortened them for me, so a big thank you. We have new radiators which look great and will be much more efficient come the winter!! 😁

I have managed to spend some time in The Wolery garden. It has run away with us recently! So much rain and so much sunshine and heat!! I’m not a great gardener, I like to cut, hack and prune so I’m grateful for anything that survives my endeavours!! The mock orange smells divine. The climbing rose needs sorting and the lavender is always so beautiful. The Rosa is going to need a good pruning come the winter, it is stunning at the moment. To be honest I’m glad it isn’t a sunny day, dare I say it.😳😁

These are some images of the dramatic sky at The Wolery. I stood in the garden today, I faced west, south, east and north…this is the outcome.
I cannot control the weather for your stay. All I can say is enjoy the wonderful skies that the Staffordshire Moorlands has to offer.
We drove up to Buxton yesterday across Morridge towards The Mermaid, again the skies were amazing, it was so black and stormy. You could see the weather rolling in over the hills, incredible.
If you are a guest and the skies are stormy and you don’t want to stay in and watch through the The Wolery window I suggest you drive across Morridge Top park up somewhere safe and just sit and watch the weather…..it is spectacular!

If I understand correctly….I think, Airbnb have decided to add the 15.5% cleaning fee on to and on top of the per night fee on The Wolery Airbnb calendar. This makes it appear that I have raised my prices but I haven’t.
