May has been gorgeous 💛🌼

Snittlegarth in this summery weather is just delightful, the trees are flourishing, animals are thriving, and there’s a general buzz about the place with a smile on everyone’s faces ☺️

Last night I spoke at the Next Generation meeting. For those who don’t know, the Farmer Network are an amazing non profit organisation dedicated to supporting farmers, especially the next generation. What they are doing is amazing ⭐️

I spoke about our family farm diversification within tourism and renewable energy and how important conservation and nature on our quiet farm is to us and what we are doing to create a nice place to stay as well as trying to be sustainable, environmentally and financially.

It was also a great night to listen to like minded Cumbrian farmers who are doing an amazing job at educating children and providing the public with native beef meat
