And just like that the herd has expanded with two beautiful pedigree shorthorn heifers, it has been my dream to have beef shorthorns at Snittlegarth so it is a very special weekend welcoming them here onto the high ground. Stay tuned to follow my beef 🥩 journey 🖤

🌿 Farming, conservation, tourism & renewables — working hand in hand.

For us, looking after the farm isn’t just about what happens today, but protecting and improving it for the future.

From traditional farming and creating space for wildlife, to welcoming guests who come to enjoy the countryside, and investing in renewable energy — we’re always looking for ways these different parts of the farm can work together. 🌱🐑

We believe the countryside can be productive, sustainable and enjoyed by people too — without losing what makes it special.

It’s not just a place to stay. It’s a working farm, a home for wildlife, and a landscape we’re proud to look after. 💚

Hosting last night for our Next Generation Event 💚

You can’t beat a farm walk, great supper and chatting to like minded people who are all interested in your journey.

We showed everyone around our different diversifications on the farm and talked about funding and how difficult certain aspects of the business is.

The Farmer Network has helped us with their next generation grant which we used to purchase a shop fridge, we are really excited to use this when our pop up shop is up and running!! Stay tuned everyone!
