Great to see everything opening again for the summer season. We still have some availability for 2026 at Seascape Cottage and look forward to welcoming new and returning guests.

✨ OPEN ON MONDAY! ✨

It's that time of year again, when we are delighted to re-open our village fully for visitors - our museum, cafe and shop will be open to all on Monday 30th March, from 0930-1730 for six days a week.

The first blackhouse you enter is where you'll find our wonderful shop and cafe. Our fantastic and popular home-baking is available, along with all our other delicious menu offerings, with everything made fresh on-site! 🧁

From there you continue on into our main village, where you will be transported back to a different time...

We can't wait to see you all as part of our 2026 season! 😊

Great to see our local cafe is now dog friendly. Only a few minutes walk from Seascape Cottage. There are also dog free areas if you prefer not to be seated on the doggy area.

We’re now a dog-friendly café! 🐶💛
Fingal was our very first furry customer, and we can’t wait to meet more wagging tails. Dogs of all shapes and sizes are welcome in our ground-floor dog-friendly area. We’ve got water bowls ready, and if we’re allowed, we love handing out treats!

For everyone’s comfort:
• Please keep pups on a lead and make sure they’re happy in social spaces
• Please clean up after your dog
• Aggressive or overly vocal dogs may be asked to step outside
• Dogs aren’t allowed on chairs or tables
• If you have allergies, let us know so we can seat you in a dog-free area
• During busy times, dog space may be limited

Bring your best friend, grab a coffee, and let the tail-wagging begin! 🐾

Seems Saltbox Sauna is still going to be open into the autumn. Bayble beach is only a few minutes drive from Seascape Cottage.

Save the date – Calmac winter timetables for the period 20 October 2025 to 26 March 2026, are now available to view online and will open for reservations on 11 September from 9am for bookable routes and advance purchase for Turn Up and Go routes.

We've been getting the best feedback from people who are taking advantage of our free e-bike loan scheme. "Friendly, informative staff getting you set up, flexibility on how long you can borrow the bikes and a beautiful coastal path on our doorsteps" are just some of the lovely things people are telling us. CalMac releases ferry winter timetable but tickets sales on hold
