There are a few things we know our guests really love about staying at Oak Tree Cabin…

The early mornings when the mist settles over the fields and makes quite a magical sunrise.

Bringing your dogs and seeing how much they love a change of scenery and new adventures is just the best. The enclosed garden is a complete bonus too.

The coastal path is spectacular and it really doesn’t matter what time of year you visit - it is worth exploring.

Our little oak saplings! We know not everyone can take one, but we have loved hearing where you have planted them.

Sometimes just chilling, reading and chatting is enough. No need to rush off, or make plans.

Now we’ve added another little spot for you to enjoy… our new chair in the fir trees, which was a last minute idea as we were felling some trees.

We’ll have to wait and see what you make of this one 😉!

If your dog could talk… what would be on their holiday wish list 🐾?

An enclosed garden? Coast and country walks? Zoomies on the beach? A comfy dog bed, bowls, treats and even a towel for those muddy paws?

And then there’s where we are…tucked away in the South Devon countryside, we’re just a short drive from some pretty special beaches and miles of coast path. So there are plenty of places to sniff, explore, splash about and generally behave like the holiday is all about them!

You get the luxury getaway and they also get their own little adventure. 🐶

Life is so much easier and fun if they come too. So, what do you think your dog’s favourite bit would be?

We were rather touched when a returning guest told us that their dog feels completely at home at Oak Tree Cabin. 🐾

And of course, that’s exactly what we hope for.

We’ve added a few little things to make your dog feel welcome…an enclosed garden for exploring, an outdoor tap for sandy paws, treats, bowls and a comfy dog bed await your arrival.

Then there’s everything that South Devon has to offer. Miles of coastal paths to explore, plenty of dog-friendly beaches and lots of lovely places to stop for a well-earned pub lunch afterwards.

Autumn, winter and spring are especially lovely for this sort of holiday. Crisp walks, muddy paws, a cosy lunch somewhere warm and then back to Oak Tree 🌳 Cabin to curl up in front of the wood burner.

It really is a pretty good life for a dog 🐶.

This was Oak Tree 🌳 Cabin during the build, before the decking, before all the finishing touches. Proof that there are good reasons to stop work occasionally and stare out of the window!

It was also definitely before we had any idea how many teas, coffees, beers and w**e would be enjoyed whilst watching the view.

That morning gave us our first glimpse of how the finished cabin would feel and it is easy to see why the view has become such an important part of the cabin.
