For any of our more recent followers, you might be interested to know that The House in the Hill is built into a hillside on our family farm and the field surrounding the house is home to some of our North Country Cheviot sheep.

Whilst staying with us you might see myself (Vicki), my husband Peter or one of our boys out checking the sheep, and if you’ve ever got any questions about farming in the Borders, please don’t hesitate to ask!

Peter, who is the backbone of the farm, takes great pride in what we produce. Over the next few weeks, we’ll be selling some of our breeding sheep at local sales and for the first time at Europe’s largest tup sale: Kelso Ram Sale, at Border Union Agricultural Society on the 11th of September.
