Some photos from this morning’s canal walk from the farm and along the Leeds Liverpool towards Silsden.
Spotted a Kingfisher having a rest which made a dull day much brighter!

We’ve just realised that we are located right in the middle of all the locations of the Bradford Pennine Gateway National Nature Reserve, which has been added to the Conde Nast 2026 Seven Wonders of the world travellers guide. All the locations are walkable right from the doors of our holiday cottages here in East Morton on the southern slopes of Rombalds Moor.
We have recently added an Organic 25m Swimming Pond and Sauna for swimming and/or Contrast Therapy.

What a gorgeous day today for planting more hedges.
Massive thanks to Yorgreen CIC and The Woodland Trust for planting another 200m and 1500 hedge plants with over 40 volunteers making it happen!
With a minibus full of volunteers from the Sant Nirankari Mission the job was completed quickly and efficiently!
