Incidentally, bumped into our pal Acoustic David - Edinburgh and can definitely maybe possibly confirm he’s at the black 2 weeks today…

Last night I happened to be in Edinburgh; I also happened to bump into Acoustic David - Edinburgh
It seems I have talked him into coming to visit us on Sunday 30th August for a Sunday session.

Dropping a huge shout out to Kelso Heartbeat, The Kelso Laddies Association and the Ex Kelso Laddies for their installation of a defibrillator on Woodmarket.

Last week, one of our hotel guests took very unwell and we needed the use of a defibrillator. Having this next door was a huge help. Mercifully, ambulance arrived and it wasn’t ultimately used. 

The guest has since been discharged and has returned home to recover; we wish them a speedy recovery and look forward to welcoming them back again.

We were grateful to have this asset on our back doorstep. As such, We’re looking at hosting a fundraising event for the above groups to be put to use for the community.

Also giving a personal shout out and thanks to Steve Quarrie and Nicolle Darling for their care for the guest.
