Having thoroughly enjoyed a Magic Mosaic glass class in Cornhill Community Centre. I'd highly recommend having a go with Rachel O'Dell Glass

Sunday September 6th The Tour of Britain, Stage 5 will start and end in Earlston in The Borders. The route comes past Floors Castle walls, just north of Kelso, and up to Stitchill, some great local vantage points!

A huge thank you to our lovely guests staying in Millsyde this month. Firstly for managing to capture this wonderful sight and secondly for being happy for me to share their experience.

When I'm promoting the holiday cottages, I often mention wildlife on the doorstep, so it's wonderful to be able to back this up with actual proof!

A covey of partridge is always a special sight and sound. Very often all you see and hear is as a frantic flurry of feathers flying over a hedge!

To see them so close, in the open, and in the garden is a real treat.

Here's another idea from Hendersyde ...

Though the sky was grey and the sun didn't shine we had a delightful day at Floors.

There's so much choice, from refreshments on The Terrace, space to explore the sunflower maze, the wall garden, millennium garden, under 12s playground, and shopping in the Apple Shed there's lots of room to roam. All in all a great day out! 😊

So you are not fazed by the maze - no children were lost in the making of this programme! 😉
