Southsyde at Hendersyde, Ednam, Scottish Borders.
A charming farm cottage with Tweed Valley views β nestled between sister cottages on a family farm near Kelso.
Tucked between the East and West Cottages on Hendersyde Farm, Southsyde looks out over the Tweed Valley to the Cheviot Hills in Northumberland National Park, with Hume Castle and the Lammermuirs on the horizon in the other direction. Two double bedrooms sleeping four, an open fire, a south-facing sheltered garden, and the kind of peaceful country setting that makes a week feel genuinely restorative.
Herons clatter in the Fox Covert treetops. Roe deer and hares wander between the woods. Walk the riverbanks and you might catch an otter or the splash of a salmon in the Tweed. Kelso is close for the market town charm, and Edinburgh and Alnwick are each about an hour away for days out.
Couples discount available on all bookings. Dogs welcome. From Β£495 per week. Sleeps 4. Ednam, Scottish Borders.
