A valentine story
30 years ago a young couple came to stay at knotts view the young man proposed to his girlfriend and luckily she said yes , my mum made them a evening meal and they had some bubbles to celebrate.
They came back to stay last night and got quiet emotional as we found the visitor book from when they stayed and we found their entry it said what a lovely place to get engaged 💍

We have availability in December right up until the Newyear ( closed christmas eve,day and boxing day ) if you fancy some winter walking while it's a bit quieter and some Christmas shopping in keswick.
Don't worry that the Langstrath Hotel is closed as you can enjoy a home cooked meal sat infront of a open fire 🔥 your welcome to bring a bottle or head up to the yewtree at Seatoller.( open Wednesday to Sunday )

The field for Catbells parking is officially open again, no more parking tickets if you use this field, right at the start of the walk, £5 to park, better than a yellow ticket 🤔🍦
