It’s a chilly morning out here, so as you can see, we’ve sensibly put on our cardigans. Practical. Stylish. Essential.

Now, today is and while we (the garden rabbits) would like to remind everyone that we are absolutely not pets — we do very much enjoy all the lovely guests who visit with theirs 🐶🐱

We’ve even been joined this morning by Hilda and Matilda… also dressed for the weather. Coincidence? We think not.

So today, we want to celebrate YOUR pets — the fluffy, the feathery, the scaly, and everything in between.

Excuse me hoomans… this is your official reminder that the clocks go forward tonight! ⏰➡️

Yes… we are aware this means you lose an hour of sleep.
Tragic. Devastating. Truly a difficult time for you all. 😌

Please try not to be irritable tomorrow…
deep breaths… maybe a nap… maybe a carrot (we won’t share ours).

Anyway—moving on to what actually matters…
SPRING IS HERE! 🌼🥕☀️

Which means:
🌱 Premium-grade fresh grass is now in season
🥕 Carrots should be crispier, juicier, and more frequent
☀️ Longer days = more time to admire us

As for us?
We’ll be carrying on as normal…
bright-eyed, bushy-tailed, and absolutely ready for breakfast at the usual time. 😌

Hello humans… yes, it’s us again 👀🐇
The very important (and extremely fluffy) garden rabbits here at Keswick Country House Hotel.

As everyone knows, Easter and rabbits go hand in paw… it’s basically our time to shine ✨🥕
HOWEVER… nobody mentioned this would involve a full-scale Easter marketing photoshoot 📸🐣

We were told it would be “a quick snap”…
Next thing we know – there’s a camera crew, posing instructions, and…
the bonnets 🎩🐰😒

Let’s just be very clear:
we did NOT approve the bonnets.
We did not discuss the bonnets.
We did not emotionally prepare for the bonnets.

We’ve been told they’re “festive”…
we think they’re “career damaging”…

And yet… here we are…
posing like professionals, working our best angles, and serving premium Easter content 🐰✨📸

So naturally, while being forced into seasonal modelling, we’ve also taken it upon ourselves to have a little hop around and check things out… purely for research purposes, of course 😌🐾

And guess what…
There is still availability over the Easter period! 🐣🌼

That means there’s still time to enjoy a lovely spring break, relax in the countryside, and maybe even spot us in the gardens…

Celebrating 12 months of Arran behind the bar! 🍾🥂

For the past year Arran has helped to keep the hotel bar running smoothly — pouring great drinks 🍷🍺, delivering plenty of cheeky comments 😏, and keeping guests and staff entertained along the way 😂

Anyone who knows Arran will know he’s a bit cheeky… but very lovable with it ❤️ Whether it’s his Scottish banter 🏴, quick one-liners, or just the way he somehow makes every shift a bit more fun, the bar definitely wouldn’t be the same without him.

So to say thank you for a brilliant 12 months, we’ve presented Arran with a bottle of champagne 🍾 (we did explain it’s not Irn-Bru… but he seemed happy enough! 😄)

Cheers Arran — thanks for all the laughs and the hard work 👏 Here’s to many more shifts behind the bar! 🥂

It’s warm, it’s bright… it must be the sun! Spring has finally decided to pay us a visit here at Keswick Country House Hotel, and we’re not complaining.

The gardens are looking beautiful, the views towards the fells are as stunning as ever, and it might just be time to dust off the garden furniture and enjoy a drink outside. 🌿🍹
