One week today we open our garden for the wonderful NGS charities!

We have a very wildlife friendly approach to gardening I was so impressed with the fabulous on a recent trip to London. It’s a paradise for insects and birds in the middle of a busy part of London. So inspiring!

My garden has so many birds and insects, just on a smaller scale! It’s teaching me a lot about how to be more sustainable.

Oh my goodness, we love this fab new bistro in - just a 20 min walk from us. Fab pizzas and a great steak and prawns sharing platter. Peppa was keen on the treats! Lovely service too.

The guests are just loving the garden! As we are too, it’s packed with colour and vitality!

And we are looking forward to our first NGS opening! 27 and 28 June: book via NGS website or app.

We’ve also been showing our guests the amazing Lake District National Park trophy we won last year from - still amazed, still delighted!
