This Georgian style Victorian home sleeps up to 15 people, perfect for families and large groups to stay and explore the surrounding area. Cumbria House is located on a quiet street in the heart of Keswick, a couple of minutes walk from the town centre, its bars, cafés, restaurants and shops, and has great access to the surrounding lakes and fells. Self catering: you will have exclusive use of the

whole house; eight bedrooms each with their own bathroom, a dining room, a large kitchen, two lounges, a utility room, drying room and south facing patio. There is free super-fast wifi throughout and a large private off-street car park for seven cars. Room-only stays: for a few weeks of the year we are able to offer our eight en-suite bedrooms for room-only stays. Perfect for individuals and couples, there is also access to the guest lounge, drying room and south facing patio.

Who knows where this is? **spoiler below**

We biked from Keswick yesterday, down St John's in the Vale and on to Thirlmere reservoir. This leads on an stunning circuit of the reservoir on varied and quiet roads. First over the Thirlmere dam heading south around the back of the reservoir with views of Helvellyn, then climbing up to the fire roads that leads back north to complete the circuit. The views here are epic ! 😯

Morning views from the house today 😍 If you'd like a last minute trip to Keswick we still have some room-only availability for the next three nights 17, 18, 19th September.

In the photos: looking east towards Latrigg, Blencathra and Clough Head off on the right of the photo. Rooms one, two, four and seven face in this direction.
