We are looking forward to hosting running royalty Paul Tonkinson and Rob Deering as they run the Coast to Coast next week. Not only are these guys seasoned runners having run countless marathons, marathon des sables, race to the king to name but a few, but when not running they present the funny Running Commentary podcast; write books and are also stand up comedians. We are looking forward to full on entertainment while they are here🤣
Paul and Rob get to us at the end of their day 1 - having left St Bees, zoomed past Ennerdale Water, remote Black Sail YHA and descending to Honister before arriving in beautiful Borrowdale.
Look out for the chain on rocks section and here’s hoping for dry weather on the day - oh and if you wouldn’t mind signing your books too…😬

If you see them out and about - give them a cheer.

Thought I’d post a few photos of our breakfast room all set up for this morning’s guests.
💚individually portioned juice and milk - glass bottles for eco reasons
💚our own homemade muesli - to our own recipe. Pop off the lid; pour in the milk; enjoy!
💚sweet and savoury preserves. The Cumberland jelly goes a treat with bacon. All our preserves are available to buy to take home.
