Is it time to change your life and live in the forest?
We’re on the hunt for an Assistant General Manager to join Beth, Jack and the team to start with us this summer.
As you may have noticed we’ve had an exciting few months retaining our Michelin 🌟, Jack winning the North-West heat of GBM (again…) and a flurry of team awards but we’re not slowing down! We need someone to help us achieve our next goals.
Your day to day job will be assisting Beth with the running the hotel and restaurant. Example duties are as follows:
- Managing the restaurant floor team, and assisting with the wider team
-Using the ‘Unreasonable Hospitality’ framework with our guests and team
-Ensuring rooms are maintained to our high standard
-Creating a warm experience for our guests
-Running a smooth Michelin starred restaurant service
-Managing employee reviews and training sessions
-Assisting with staff rotaring and recruitment
-Pushing forward our sustainability initiatives
-Be ‘on call’ when guests are staying over
You will be:
-Empathetic, warm and fair management style
-Detail and process driven
-Calm under pressure and a service superstar
-Experience at Michelin/fine-dining/or a similar calibre restaurant
-Passion & knowledge about restaurants/food/wine/cocktails with a sustainable edge
-Have previous management experience
-Be ambitious, and want the best for them and their team
-Be ready to jump in (sometimes literally) to life in the lakes
