As many of our guests know we absolutely love walking the fells with our spaniels - Lillie and Lola, and today we got out to complete the Kentmere Horseshoe. It was wet and windy with little visibility but when the views came it was stunning.
AND… Although it’s only 10 weeks since I completed my 2nd round of Wainwrights today I clocked up 100 fells in my 3rd round 🥳

A cracking walk around the Whinlatter Fells, a few Wainwrights and a few Birketts. It was mixed weather but at least the rain didn’t show until the end. These are great fells to walk if your looking for peace and quiet

Lovely few hours walking the Uldale Fells, a little breezy but stunning. The more I walk around here the better it gets

Wishing our wonderful Theatre by the Lake a very Happy 27th Birthday 🎂
They really do make Keswick very special and for those who have never been we really hope you do soon, especially if it’s their current production - Calendar Girls - absolutely amazing, it’ll be a memorable experience.
Here’s to many more years of wonderful theatre, music, comedy, film and the arts

A cracking long walk. Took the bus to Rosthwaite and walked back to Keswick via
Eagle Crag, Sergeants Crag, Ullscalf, High Tove, High Seat, Bleaberry Fell - 15 miles and 3600ft

Really enjoying these long linear walks ☺️

A very quick walk over Cat Bells, Maiden Moor and High Spy. It wasn’t supposed to be quick but literally as I got to Maiden Moor summit I got a call to say we had a fault with a toilet - you’re never off duty with a guest house - back home now and all sorted
