Hi All,
The forecast was rain today so I headed off to Buttermere this afternoon hoping to get some drizzle (I love Buttermere in the rain). But we didn't get any, in fact the sun came out for a while.
We walked for a while along the shoreline for a bit, I quite liked this fallen branch in the water as a focal point.
We ended up in Sykes Tearoom for lunch to end our little excursion.

Hi All,
This is from a nice little circular walk I like to do as its just from our village of Braithwaite as can be seen in the middle distance.
It takes me a couple of hours to complete and taking in the view as I go.
So this is the view as I'm descending from Barrow looking towards Dodd and Skiddaw in the distance.

Hi All,
I was out again yesterday afternoon looking for heather and there was plenty of it on Castlerigg Fell looking over towards Derwent Water.
I have been pleasantly surprised at how good the heather has been this year, one of the best I think.
