The talented chefs at Lyzzick Hall use the finest locally sourced ingredients. Often this includes herbs form Lyzzick Hall’s own garden. The Lyzzick burger has arrived on the bar menu and it brought a small but mighty friend, the rosehip and cherry blossom martino. Give them both a go!

Available Mon-Sat 12pm-9pm. Locals, visitors and guests are welcome, no need to book.

Domaine Amelie & Charles Sparr, La Farouche, 2022: The dry, spiced, and deeply herbal orange is quite something else, perfect for the Negroni lover on the table.

Royal Tokaji, Furmint, 2022: A crisp and intensely dry white wine with flavours of apple and pear, followed by notes of peach on the finish, perfect with fish or lighter dishes, or enjoyed by itself.

Anno Domini, Le Argille, Cabernet di Cabernet, 2023: Matured in cement barrels for 2 years, this ruby red shows all the brightness of a much younger wine whilst presenting chocolate and rich to***co.

Michele Chiarlo, Nivole, Moscato D’Asti, 2025: A dreamily fragrant sweet wine, bright aromas of apricot with a deliciously creamy flavour, the fine bubbles make this perfect as both an aperitif or dessert wine.

This is Andy. The leader of the kitchen at Lyzzick. And what a journey he’s had. Before returning to life on land, Andy was running kitchens on Arctic expeditions, cooking in some crazy conditions. He’s also honed his craft in a Michelin-starred restaurant, bringing that same high standard and creativity into every service at Lyzzick.

These days, the Lyzzick kitchen is a little warmer than the Arctic — but the same passion, precision, and attention to detail go into every dish.

His go-to at The Covey? “Hands down, The Lambcetta.” And honestly, if you haven’t tried it yet… what are you waiting for? It’s the dish of the season.
