Thank you to all my guests and future guests for your interest in Borrowdale House. It is a lovely feeling to dare to plan holidays once again!
I think it is right to still proceed with caution, and so I continue to offer full refunds if anyone needs to cancel.
To sum up the earliest expected dates (subject to confirmation):
From 12 April: 1 household only
From 17 May: 2 households or up to six people
From 21 June: as we were
I have reserved remaining dates in May and June for guests who need to postpone existing spring bookings, and hope to arrange these in the next few days, after which I will make any remaining dates available.

I am so pleased to see the numbers affected by Covid19 coming down. At the same time, I think there is still a long way to go before we beat the virus. I am therefore not taking new bookings at present. I would rather take bookings with confidence than have a yoyo of expectation and disappointment for my guests.
Many thanks for your patience, and I hope everyone is able to enjoy their nearest beauty spots as this beautiful spring turns into glorious summer. xx

I regret that Borrowdale House is closed and all bookings cancelled at least until the end of April and most probably for some time after that. During this time it will only be used as a means to reduce travel, in other words by people already in the community.
I can't wait to reopen when appropriate, for people to enjoy the beauty of the Lakes once again.

I've stocked up on Faith in Nature products to offer guests after I saw their lovely new packaging and learned they are not only naturally derived and parabens-free, but also made with Lake District water. Plus the bottles are made of recycled plastic.
