⛰️February Weekend Deal – Just £35 per person ⛰️

We’ve been closed over Christmas and into the New Year for large group bookings only, but we’re excited to reopen as normal on 27th & 28th February

We’ll then be open from 13th March – weekends only, and back to normal hours from 1st April 2026.

As we are opening for only one weekend this month - we’ve reduced the 27th & 28th February stay to £35 per person – perfect for a last-minute trip to the beautiful Lake District 🏔️

🚴🏽‍♂️🚴🏽‍♂️ TOUR de France 2027 🚴🏽‍♂️🚴🏽‍♂️

How exciting

Britain will host three stages of racing as a part of the men’s 2027 Tour de France, which will take place between Friday 2 and Sunday 4 July.

On Friday 2 July, the route will travel from Edinburgh to Carlisle. On Saturday 3 July, the route will travel through the Lake District National Park from Keswick to Liverpool via places like Grasmere, Ambleside, Windermere and Milnthorpe.

The third stage will then travel from Welshpool to Cardiff on Sunday 4 July!!

With over 120 years of history, the men’s Tour de France is the world’s largest annual sporting event. You don’t need a ticket to attend – so you can enjoy the spectacular sight of the world’s best professional teams and riders racing through Cumbria’s beautiful landscapes free of charge.

🌟 Join our team at Denton House Hostel!! 🌟

Exciting times ahead at Denton House Hostel — we’re looking for someone to join our lovely team in the new year (possibly starting from February 2026 onwards)

With myself heading off on maternity leave, we’re after an all-rounder who can help keep things running smoothly and be part of the team when I return around June/July 2026.

This will be a part-time, flexible role - helping out with admin, housekeeping and general day-to-day bits around the hostel. Ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of tasks, likes working with people, and doesn’t mind getting stuck in!
