Which was your first fell? 🥾🥾

Keswick really is a walker’s paradise, with incredible walks and fells right on the doorstep! 🌿⛰️

Many of our guests love getting out and exploring the fells during their stay, and the Keswick Cottages team are just as keen to pull on our walking boots when we’re not in the office! 😉

📍 Sale Fell is a great little introduction to the fells, with beautiful views across Bassenthwaite towards Skiddaw. Just a short drive from Keswick, it’s one of the smaller Wainwrights and a fantastic option for little legs, with plenty of lovely picnic spots along the way. 🧺🌿

And those views? Absolutely worth the climb! 🤩

“Our second visit to Deer Close Cottage. Very comfortable and great location. Only 1.5 mile walk into Keswick. Peaceful and lovely birds that visit the garden. Look forward to booking again with Keswick Cottages, great people who treat you like a human not just a booking number. Thanks for the wine and biscuits.”

This cosy little hideaway sleeps 2 and is the perfect place to escape from the hustle and bustle for a while 🌿

Another lovely review for Alison’s View just in! 💕

“We loved our stay at Alison’s View, which is conveniently located between the town centre and the park. It looked newly decorated and clean and had all that was needed for a great stay, including a first-class washing machine and dryer (which we do not need to use as it was such glorious weather). We all felt very welcome and our dog received a toy and treats upon arrival. There is a little convenience store up the street and a lovely coffee shop at the end of the road. From the house it is a 10-minute walk to Derwent water and it is a convenient location to start your walks from.”

This cosy cottage in the heart of Keswick is a perfect base for keen walkers 🥾🥾 looking to get out on the fells or anyone who just wants a relaxing break with all that Keswick has to offer on the doorstep.
