As we say goodbye to 2025, we want to take a moment to thank all of our loyal returning guests and those who have joined us for the first time this year. Your support has meant the world to us. ✨

2025 has been an important and exciting year for Borrowdale Gates - a year of new ownership, getting to know the hotel and our wonderful guests, and carefully moving forward, while always preserving what our guests have come to know and love over the years.

This year we introduced some gorgeous outdoor furniture so our stunning views can be enjoyed even more, and we made Sunday our favourite day of the week by reintroducing our much-loved Sunday roasts.
We’re very much looking forward to 2026 and welcoming guests both old and new!
