Whether you’re cycling in the Oban area or exploring some of the quieter routes around Loch Awe and Argyll, there’s no shortage of incredible scenery and fresh air along the way.

BBQ Thursday 🔥☀️

With sunshine and 23 degrees on the cards, we’ll be outside cooking over the flames this afternoon with a BBQ menu including:

• Garlic fire-roasted king prawns with gem lettuce
• Fresh BBQ chicken caesar salad
• Whisky glazed BBQ brisket
• Corn on the cob
• Potato salad
• Homemade red cabbage slaw

There may even be some octopus on the grill too 👀

Everything is limited availability, so once it’s gone, it’s gone.

Fresh air, quiet roads, and scenery that makes you want to stop every five minutes. 🚴

We have some incredible cycling routes direct from our doorstep.

Long rides for the more adventurous or shorter loops. Lochside roads, long climbs, fresh Argyll air and plenty of places to stop and take it all in.

Then back to the Kilchrenan Inn for delicious food and a drink to celebrate a day well spent! 🥂

We’re lucky to have Oban Distillery just up the road, where you can tour the distillery, learn more about the whisky making process and the history of the distillery. Make sure you book in advance as their tours are very popular.

Our newest ‘Wee Plate’
Golden , candied and white heirloom beetroots are first baked in a salt crust to intensify their earthy flavour , then tossed with fresh herbs, capers and shallots. We top it off with house pickles, a rich confit yolk and even more herbs.

One of our guests said that it was possibly the best starter she’s ever had. It really is delicious!
