🌱🌿The Story of Keepers House 🌿🌱
It all began in March 2026, with an idea to turn our lovely meadow into a place where people could come to pause, rewind, reconnect with nature, and make memories in the peaceful arms of the countryside.
It was a plan I, Fiona, created in the spring after a serious injury left my mum disabled. Her sense of purpose was fading, and the passion and love she had always poured into caring for people through her work in the health sector had to be placed on hold.
She lived here, in this gorgeous place, with her beloved dog, until sadly, she passed away during the summer.
From that loss, Keepers House was born.
I wanted to create a safe haven — a place where people could come, breathe, switch off from everyday life and simply be. When Keepers House opened the meadow as a pop-up site, what I had envisioned began to come to life.
And then it grew.
So quickly that I had to adapt and learn along the way.
My mum's mental health began to improve as she saw the difference the space could make to people who simply needed a break — a peaceful, cost-effective getaway from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
That became the heart of Keepers House.
By bringing positivity, kindness and purpose into the space, we decided to reach out to solo travellers, groups, charities and organisations who may need somewhere calm, peaceful and away from the noise and pressures of everyday life.
A place without pollution.
A place to breathe.
A place to reconnect.
A place to simply be.
We wanted to share a little of our story with you — our vision, our values, and the reason I chose to transform our meadow into a place of sanctuary, back to nature and the wild.
Keepers House is about people, nature, memories and finding a little peace when life feels overwhelming.
We can't wait to welcome you all again next year.
I am forever grateful for every person who has supported Keepers House, visited us, believed in our vision and helped make this little dream become something real.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Fiona
