A thank you gift from our last guests! We had a couple who booked for 18 nights cancel just a week before they were due to stay so we never thought we would get Annex filled and then we ended up with the absolutely nicest guests stay last minute! A sauvignon blanc always welcome!! 🥰🤩

Lovely flowers from a fab guest at Kilfinan! And some amazing reviews recently. Just what was needed after we had a not so nice guest experience. They messaged Airbnb stating Kilfinan was unclean and cluttered. I panicked and wondered if cleaner had forgotten to go in. We were in transit back from Japan so it was difficult to reply or assess the accusations. They took pictures…and Airbnb as I wasn’t replying upheld the complaint and refunded in full £900. When we landed i looked at the pictures they took. A basket of jigsaw puzzles and a toy box with games and books. Oh they also pulled a sofa out to get a picture of a box with a xmas tree in it. My theory is they had double booked and one person come round and fabricated the complaint to get a refund. It’s disgusting and shocking behaviour of you book somewhere and then weasel your way out of a booking. Glad 99.999% guests are lovey and I have to remember these guests and not the minority. Luckily Airbnb after some ‘discussions’ have not rescinded my superhost and taken these false claims off my account. There will always be one rotton apple! Onwards and upwards.

We have many different species of wildlife around Killin. We now have a group of Beavers living in river below the Annex. I see them every time I go down at dusk without fail. They can make quite a splash when mucking about. Lovely to watch.

Upkeep is super important to keep Kilfinan looking fresh and well cared for. Some new furniture went in to the bedrooms this weekend. 😍. .

Loving our 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ reviews. Last couple both guests used the word ‘cocoon’ as a description of our lovely annex. Perhaps a name change is needed?? 😁👍🏡
