Quick post to announce that this year's province of Renfrewshire West's annual charity degree will be Wednesday the 22nd of April.

As per tradition this meeting will be hosted by Lodge Sir Michael 989 at our Temple in Kilmacolm, tyled at 19:30.

Of course the RWMs of the province will be conferring the degree and it will be a Passing.

We're looking forward to this event and hope to see as many Brethren along to show support for this long standing tradition within the province.

There comes a point for many of us where life gets busy and our connection to OUR Lodge quietly drifts into the background. Work, family, and other commitments can easily take priority. But the Lodge is always there, just as you left it.
Your Mother Lodge is more than a building or a meeting night. It is where you were first welcomed, where friendships were formed, and where your Masonic journey began. It remains a place of support, belonging, and shared values.
If you have been away for a while, consider this your invitation to return. You will find familiar faces, a warm welcome, and perhaps a renewed sense of purpose. Freemasonry is not about perfection or constant attendance. It is about connection, growth, and being part of something meaningful.
No matter how long you have been absent, you will always be welcome back through the door.
Reach out to your Mother Lodge, go along to a meeting, or simply get in touch with a Brother you remember. You may be surprised at how quickly it all feels familiar again.
Your seat is still there.
To any duly qualified in the Kilmacolm and surrounding area, a warm and fraternal welcome awaits each and every one of you...

All, Last night myself, Bro Murray Allan PM, John Tanner PM and James Watson PM attended Lodge Greenock Kilwinning XII where we witnessed a fine lecture presented by Bro Alan D Beck PM on 'Brother Colin Rae Brown’
Father of the Burns Movement, a Greenockian,
Mother Club President, Master Mason of Lodge
Greenock St. John’s No 175 and the Province of
Renfrewshire West.
The presentation was packed full of detail and interesting facts and I would urge anyone who hasn't heard to to try your upmost. Many references to Freemasonry, Greenock and the important links to the Burns world of today make it of particular interest to us Inverclyders. Smashing evening topped off with some lovely fayre.
