I used to think a shepherd hut was just a pretty shed with better marketing.
Then I watched a couple arrive at one of ours near Hunstanton, North Norfolk, UK with a bag of shopping, a dog, and that look people get when they have been carrying the week on their shoulders. Twenty minutes later the kettle was on. The chairs were out. Nobody was checking a phone for anything useful.
A door that closes. Rain on a metal roof. The coast still close enough that the dog starts pacing when you pick up the lead. That is the whole product. Not luxury. Just enough structure that you can stop performing holiday and start having one.
We have huts on the coast side and in the woodland near Holt. Dogs welcome on all of them. Gift vouchers start from around £245 if you are shopping for someone who never books themselves a break.
